September is peak hurricane season on the East Coast of the United States, and in preparation for it, many homeowners and businesses wisely prune their trees to prevent damage should a storm strike. However, it is important to remember that this time of year is also one of the two peak seasons for squirrels to be born, the other being late January to early March. So, to keep our furry friends safe in their treetop nests, I am offering some helpful hints. It just takes a few minutes to check before you cut or prune. Lucky and Bud’s family thank you!
